JEE upload requirements at a glance
- Photograph: 350 × 450 px, 10–200 KB, JPG (3.5 × 4.5 cm).
- Signature: 350 × 150 px, 10–100 KB, JPG (3.5 × 1.5 cm).
Sizes follow the JEE Main bulletin (NTA), which sets file sizes, not pixel sizes. The files keep the 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo and 3.5 × 1.5 cm signature shape.
JEE Advanced is run by a different IIT each year. Its sizes are usually the same, but check that year's Advanced notice.
Use a recent photo on a white background with your face filling about 80% of the frame, ears visible and no mask.
Some NTA cycles ask for your name and the date of the photograph on the photo. Turn that on below if your bulletin says so.
These figures follow the latest JEE notification as reported. Requirements can change from one recruitment cycle to the next, so check the official National Testing Agency website before you submit.
