Which exams ask for name and date on the photo?
SSC has asked for it in several recent cycles, and many state PSC, police and railway recruitments do too. Your notification will say so if it's required.
Which date should I use?
The date the photograph was actually taken. Many forms reject photos older than three months from the application date.
Should the name be in capital letters?
The tool writes the name in capitals for clarity, which is the most common format. Follow your notification if it says otherwise.
