Frequently asked questions
Why does my signature look grey or have shadows?
Phone cameras capture the paper's colour and the shadow of your hand or phone. The cleaner measures the paper brightness across the whole photo and removes it, so only the ink remains on pure white.
Can I get a transparent signature for signing PDFs?
Yes. Choose Auto size, then Transparent (PNG). You can place that image on PDFs, letters and documents.
Which pen works best?
A black gel or ball-point pen on plain white paper gives the cleanest result. Avoid lined or coloured paper.
Is my signature stored anywhere?
No. The image is processed in your browser and is never uploaded, which matters for something as sensitive as a signature.
